Today, my family and I went out to eat wanton noodles! We headed down to Centre Point (Across 313 Somerset) and went shopping! I went over to 313 Somerset and headed to the 4th level, and went to visit the soccer shop. I saw my soccer boots on display and I rushed there and admired it. I know it's weird for someone to admire something he already has. But anyhow, I still loved the way it felt and looked. It look so sick! I browsed around the shop and checked the prices of the stuff. I tried on a few boots, but, of course, I did not buy them. My advice for you guys is, always go to Queensway Shopping Centre if you're gonna buy soccer equipment or other sports equipment. Why? Because it has a WIDE selection of shops and obviously the competition there is really intense and that's why the stuff there is so cheap. But, for me, I always head down to Weston Corporation first to look at the soccer equipment. It's cheap and they are trustworthy people!
After all the window shopping and stuff, I met my family at Centre Point and we headed to the opposite of Starhub Centre to eat one of my favourite food - Pontian Wanton Noodles! I am sure you guys have heard of it. Lol! We had lunch there and really, it was simply delicious. Sad to say, I didn't bother taking pictures of the noodles because it was just too tempting not to eat it first. By the time I wanted to take pictures, I realised I had already finished the noodles. :(
Anyway, today was a great day of fun together with my family and I hope I will have more of these type of days to come. :)

It has been quite a long time since I have blogged. So, here I am, typing this post. It has been quite a tiring day for me today. Especially since I had training today. But, I'm very happy today because I finally got my K-Pop stuff! I ordered a Star Collection Card Set and a Concert Album online (I will give you the link later). I waited for one week and I went over to collect it.
Today may seem like a fun day to you, but not really for me. :( Why? Because I sent my brother to collect the stuff for me but he said he couldn't find the person. So, when I got home from training, I was kinda disappointed. When I read my sms, I realised the time of collection had changed from 5pm to 8.15pm. So, I quickly rushed over to Tampines' Starbucks to collect my stuff! And, I was really happy when I found the person. It was like heaven. ^^
I bought Honey Milk Tea (My favourite) and I went home. When I reached home, I immediately opened all the packs of cards and to my surprise, there were 5 autograph cards inside the whole set! Usually, the average number of autograph cards you would get in a whole set is 2-3. But, I had 5! After opening all the packs, I quickly put all the cards into card protectors so as to prevent them from being damaged or scratched. I went on to open the album and browsed through the photobook. I really loved it! (: I synced the album into my phone and I listened to it with my earphones. Music is life!
After that, I went on to play my guitar and searched the net for the chords/tablatures of the song "Gee". I joined together a few parts here and there and I ended up with my very own, improvised version of the song!

It's been quite a long time since I have blogged so here I am, typing this post.
Yesterday and today was a TERRIBLE day for me. D: Yesterday, 25h January, our school had a soccer match against Bedok View. Before we even reached Tampines Secondary (The match was held there), I knew we were going to win by quite a big margin. I was not in the starting lineup so I thought I would play later on. In the first half, we dominated the game. I can confidently say that our possession of the ball was about 75%. At half time, it was 5-0! :P As usual, the coach put in the Sec 1s for them to gain experience since we were winning by such a big margin. I felt really disappointed but I kept telling myself not to think about it. Anyway, our next match was against Tanjong Katong and they are a tough opponent. They were the favourites to win in our group. I'm quite nervous and I hope that we will win. :)
The next morning, which is this morning, my team mate, Christopher, went up on stage to announce the results, naming the scorers too. I felt really bad because I didn't get to play yesterday and I didn't contribute to the team. But, I just kept telling myself not to think about it. When Christopher announced the score of the C Division, the whole school went like, "Wah!" and people started laughing.
As usual, teachers congratulated him on his 3 goals yesterday, including our PE teacher. Tomorrow is our PE lesson and we are doing to soccer module. So, I guess I have to wait for tomorrow's training for me to break into my new boots! :D I'm also going to collect my K-Pop merchandise tomorrow!
It's been quite a long time since I've blogged. Today, I had a friendly soccer match against St Pats'. We left the class at 1.40pm to have lunch and we headed for St Pats'. As you know, St Pats' and VS have some conflicts and we are really competitive in whatever thing we do. The conflict continued on for months and even went on for years. Soon, a hatred brewed among both of the schools. Anyway, back to the point, the second we entered St Pats', we were bombed with comments by St Pats' students like, "Bodoh VS" or "Go back home lah". We didn't really bother about those and just made our way to the field. We did some warm-ups and stretching and soon, the match was about to start. I was in the starting line-up and I played as a Left Wing Back (LWB). It's like I'm a Left Winger + a Left Defender. So yeah, it's a tiring role. The match consisted of 3 halves - 30mins each. One of our VS teammates was the referee for the 1st half. Nothing special really happened. At the break, it was still 0-0. For the 2nd half, a St Pats' player was the referee. Needless to say, he was really biased and soon, we "conceded" a penalty. D: A St Pats' striker shot to the left and our keeper dived the right way, but he missed the ball. 1-0 to St Pats'. We also won a penalty but our teammate missed it. T_T Soon, it was the 3rd half and another of my VS teammate was the referee. We missed quite a few goal-scoring opportunities and failed to score. So, in the end, we lost 1-0 to them. But anyway, I felt our performance was not that bad and we had a great team spirit. It's a good start for us just before the tournament starts. Our first match in the tournament is against Bedok View. Sorry, but I don't have any pictures. :( I have to go now and I hope I can blog again some time soon! :D
School today was kinda boring. I only looked forward to the soccer match against Yishun Town after school. The first two periods was English. Nothing special happened and lessons were carried out as normal. After English, it was Maths for the next two periods. Also, not much happened. The only sad thing that happened was that Mr. Su and Mr. Teo gave us LOTS of weekend homework. But, Mr. Teo promised he wouldn't give us Physics homework. Well, I didn't believe his words. Anyway, after Maths was recess and I finally got to try out the Chicken Rice, after much persuasion from my friends. When I tried it, it tasted ordinary and I felt like there was nothing special. Anyhow, I still had a good meal. After my meal, I bought a drink and finished it in like a few gulps. I was planning to use the empty bottle as a 2nd water bottle for the match later on in the day. I went back to class and everything was per normal. The last 4 periods were kinda nornal. Nothing special happened. At last, the school bell rang and school was over.
After everything that happened during school time, it was finally time for me to slack! I went down to the football field and put down my bag and my boots. There were quite a few people playing in the field and the number slowly but surely grew. Before I changed into my boots, I witnessed something that happened between Leonard and Jazzmen. I don't think I should say it here because teachers would be able to see it. Anyway, I changed into my boots and started to warm up together with my teammates. Soon, it started to rain heavily but we still continued. However, we decided to go in and wait since the rain proved too heavy for us. The coach arrived shortly after and so did Yishun Town. After the rain stopped and the lightning alert was off, we started the game. The starting squad was all Secondary 1 students as the coach wanted to try them out. But, it proved to be a wrong move. Very early in the game, we conceded a corner. The opponent mis-kicked and so the ball went straight to the Secondary 1 goalkeeper, rolling on the ground. All of us thought that he would catch it and so we turned our heads away. But, it was not to be. He allowed the ball to continue rolling (Because he didn't want to dive on the ground) and it rolled towards an opponent striker, with an open goal in front of him. Needless to say, he just tapped it into the net. Well, the Secondary 1 team made some mistakes here and there but they were generally okay. Soon, we, Secondary 2's got substituted in. The game definitely changed for the better. I played as the RWB (Right wing-back) role. My role is to be the right defender, but, when my team has the ball, I have to go forward to support them. After a long fought battle, we lost 3-2 in the end. After the match, we jogged 6 rounds around the field, did 60 sit ups, 40 push ups and our own stretching as a warm down. Sorry, but I have no photos. :(
Overall, I feel the day has been quite fun, but my body is aching all over as I type this. :D
